At Fairmount Dental Center, we want you to feel confident and for your smile to shine. That's why we offer an easy solution that will brighten your teeth and improve your smile all from the comfort of your own home. How fantastic is that? Teeth whitening
is the number one cosmetic
dental concern of patients in America today.
Tried Whitening Elsewhere?
Over-the-counter teeth whitening products have completely saturated the market, but with their "one size fits most" system, it's difficult to find the right product that works and you can rely on. Chances are you have already tried at least one or two products that claim to whiten teeth. Did they work? Maybe a little bit, but it probably wasn't what you were hoping for; a crisp, white smile.
Instead of over the counter or store bought teeth whitening methods, learn how whitening works
by giving us a call at (503) 967-0877 to set up a new patient consultation, so that we can answer any questions you might have.
Professional Teeth Whitening Means Results!
Some of the most common issues that we treat with our professional teeth whitening services are:
||Fluorosis (white spots caused by excess fluoride)
||Dull enamel that has lost its luster
||Stained teeth due to coffee, wine, tea
||Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline)
||Yellow or brown staining on teeth that occurs naturally over time
With our professional and custom teeth whitening system, you can rest assured that you will see the results you want. Most patient's reach either ideal shade in as little as 4 weeks and are able to maintain that for years after.
What At-Home Teeth Whitening Involves
This process requires two trips to the dentist. After you've been cleared of treatment, we start by taking impressions of your teeth to send to the lab. Sometimes a messy process, but definitely worth it in the end! Plan on being with us for at least 30 minutes.
Once we receive your custom whitening trays from our dental lab, your second appointment is a piece of cake! We will try in your new trays, go over use and care instructions, check your starting tooth shade, and give some helpful tips so you can get the smile of your dreams. The rest will be up to you. We will send you home with your own set of trays and enough whitening to last you awhile.
Sensitivity is very normal for whitening procedures. If you're not used to it, we like to start our patient's off with a lower concentration of our bleaching gel. Once you're more adjusted and comfortable, we can give you a higher percentage so you can maintain that glowing smile. If you need a sensitive tooth paste, let our staff know and we'll get you started on that before you get the trays to further reduce your teeth sensitivity.
